Parents! HS made the 20% threshold with 21% = EXCELLENT! Bluffview and JH are soooo close! Bluffview = 19% and JH = 17%. Can we get just a few more people to take the survey? http://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/survey/parent/
Parents! You know we ask every year for you to take the 5 Essentials Survey. Our schools need 20% parent participation in order to reflect positively on our school report cards. Right now we are averaging about 13%. Could we get a boost from everyone to push us over the threshold? THANK YOU! http://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/survey/parent/
Reminder: Teacher’s Meeting March 6th – Student dismissal: BV 1:30pm and JH/HS 2:00pm.

Today during training, Dupo School District had a unique opportunity to learn from the reflections of DeAndre Davis, Director of Safety and Security for the St. Louis Public Schools. The reflection and lessons learned from DeAndre Davis regarding the active shooter at CVPA on Monday, Oct. 24, 2023 was invaluable. Also in attendance were Dupo Police Chief Dennis Plew, Mr. Ranley Killian, Assistant US Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, Joe Collins, Law Enforcement Coordinator with the State's Attorneys Office, Tara Williams, School Safety Officer with St. Louis Public Schools and Lauren Barry, Illinois Public Affairs Officer.
Attached are three pictures:

It's time for the annual 5 Essentials Parent Survey! It takes about 15 minutes to complete this survey, once for each school that your child attends. This means that some of you may take the survey up to 3 times.
Tip: When you are asked for the county, spell-out "Saint Clair" and don't use abbreviations.
We promise to read all anonymous feedback, so please participate in the survey. This is very important for our district and to benefit the most from our state report card, we need at least 20% parent participation at each school.
Please complete as soon as possible. We hope to reach our participation goal by January 31st.
Thank you!
