FLL's (First Lego League) inaugural season has started with building models, testing different robot designs, and codes to get the robot to complete the mission tasks. Both the coaches and students learn something new each meeting and love the challenge of trying something new.

In Mrs. Dougherty's and Mr. G's class they have been learning about the maps in geography. They were tasked with making a map of a park with the required objects like trees, a pool, playground, and more. They had to use spatial reasoning to make sure everything would fit. I think their parks could make a great addition to any city.

One of our students, Kady, has been working on gaining work skills by delivering mail from teachers' mail boxes to their classroom. She uses a clipboard to make sure she completes her steps and checks the right mail boxes. She is loving it and the teachers who signed up have enjoyed not having to walk to their mail boxes to check for mail.
