Yesterday, students in the St. Louis and Metropolitan area including 11th and 12th graders from different schools — had the unique opportunity to attend a dynamic Career Summit at the Botanical Gardens, where they connected directly with professionals from a variety of fields. From science and conservation to horticulture, education, human resources, visitor operations, and sustainability, attendees gained valuable insights into the diverse careers that exist within the garden industry.
Through engaging panel discussions, interactive presentations, guided tours, and intimate networking sessions, students explored both local and global career opportunities, including internships they could even do in the future! It was an inspiring day filled with learning, connections, and a deeper understanding of the exciting paths available in this field.
