Get ready to cheer on your hometown heroes! Dupo First Robotics (DFR) Team 7452 is heading to the St. Louis Regional competition at Chaifetz Arena at St. Louis University from March 13th to 15th, and they’re bringing their best robot yet!
After an intense build season, filled with dedication and countless hours of hard work, Team 7452 is primed and ready to showcase their innovative creation. Since January 4th, the team has been meeting six days a week, pouring their passion and expertise into designing, building, and refining their robot for the 2025 FIRST Robotics Competition season.
The competition kicks off on Thursday, March 13th, with judging and practice matches, giving the team a chance to fine-tune their robot's performance in the arena. The real action begins on Friday and Saturday morning with the qualifying matches, where Team 7452 will face off against other talented teams from across the region.
Saturday afternoon will see the highly anticipated tournament rounds, and everyone at DFR is hoping to see their hard work pay off with a spot in the finals. "We've put in more effort than ever before," said Coach Leavitt, "and this is definitely our best-designed robot yet. We're crossing our fingers and giving it our all!"
For those who can't make it to Chaifetz Arena in person, you can still catch all the excitement! The matches will be live-streamed, allowing you to watch Team 7452 compete from the comfort of your own home.
