Dupo Junior/Senior High School

This week is National Prevention Week, each day there will be a “Did You Know” fact about alcohol and opioids to increase awareness about the dangers of these drugs.  The high school health classes have made informative posters that you can see hanging in the hallways.  Additionally, if you would like to take a pledge to stop the misuse of alcohol, you can pick up a pledge card in the office.  When you return it, they will give you a small gift in return.

DID YOU KNOW?--Studies show the human brain does not fully develop until late 20’s.  Heavy alcohol consumption prior to the legal age can have detrimental effects on the brain's development.
