Prom Rodeo

This year's prom was held at Sugar Springs Ranch in Columbia. The menu consisted of fried chicken or pork, mashed potatoes, pasta and Crumbl cookies for dessert. After Prom was held at the high school consisting of bubble soccer, a mechanical bull, glow in the dark volleyball and a nerf gun fight through the hallways. Prom Court included Jacob Beatte and Adrienne Latimer, Teegan Hargrove and Samara Roberts, Brayden (Batman) Brown and Bailey Vunetich, and Wyatt Brown and Ashley Merrell. The Prom King and Queen this year was Riley Young and Neveah Graves. Mr. Hempen, the Junior Class Sponsor, said, “Overall, I believe that Prom went really well. I want to especially give a shout out to our Prom Committee for assisting me in all different areas that went into making Prom night a special night. The venue was awesome, and the staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful in setting up an event like a high school Prom. For it to be the first ever Prom hosted at Sugar Spring Ranch, I would consider it an all around success.”
