Gutt-er-done!

The Dupo Bowling team is having a strong season! The girls bowling team got third place in Conference and the boys finished 2nd in the Kaskaskia Division within the Cahokia Conference as they were 6-4-1 overall. Then Maddie Ehrhard won the conference in her division. Maddie Ehrhard is the leading bowler for the girls and Matt Hofer for the boys.
Coach Griffin said, “We had many new players come out this season and put a lot of work and effort out on the lanes while balancing other extracurricular activities. It was great seeing them from start to finish as they developed and transitioned in so many ways by learning the aspects and the fundamentals of bowling- it is not easy for sure but they still worked hard. For our seniors I am sad to see them go, but I know they will do great things upon graduating.”
In the meantime, the girls team competes at Regionals on February 3rd at Bel-Air Bowl. Let’s congratulate the girls and boys bowling team on such a good season!
