Got Games!?

By: Matthew Fremont

With the start of a new school year there are always changes.  One change however, has sparked life into a corner of the library.  That would be the brand new Dupo Esports Teams.  After tryouts on August 29th they have finalized two teams one for Valorant and Mario Kart.  When asking Mr. Tidball about his new team he stated, “I think that it’s a great opportunity for students to show their skill in a competitive gaming scenario while also earning possible scholarships for college.”  They are planning to have practice on Thursdays after school.  Now if the idea of Esports sounds fun try reaching out to Mr. Tidball to learn more about it.  If you or someone you know are in junior high, they can join the scrimmage team and try securing their spot for high school.
