February 2026

The reveal is here!!
While they did not turn out as vibrant as we wanted, our students were excited about their frozen orbs. The orbs are being displayed in the planters outside Bluffview's main doors.

With the cold weather moving in, students in Ms. Church and Mrs. Gischer's class finally have the chance to attempt the "frozen orb" craze seen on TikTok and YouTube. Students put food coloring and water in balloons and placed them outside. Our goal is to end up with the frozen colored orbs as seen in the last photo.

Ms. Church's student recently learned about artist Vincent Van Gogh and had fun creating their own art inspired by Van Gogh's famous painting "A Starry Night."

#Congratulations to our January 2026 Students of the Month! 🎉🤩👍 #education

January 2026

Santa's little helpers were busy in Room 310 yesterday. They practiced their wrapping skills for the upcoming holiday season. We are thankful for Ms. Tina and the cafeteria staff for allowing us to place our creations under their tree.

Students in Ms. Church and Mrs. Gischer's room spent a fun-filled afternoon making houses out of graham crackers, icing, and sweets.

Spirit Wear orders are in and have been delivered to homeroom teachers. They will be sent home tomorrow. Please let the office know if something is wrong. Thank you so much for supporting Bluffview's Student Council!
Bluffview PTO will have Santa's Cottage open from 8am-10am on 12/19. Thank you!

Merry Grinchmas from Fourth Grade 🎄✨️

Reminder! K-3 Holiday program is 12/17 at 6pm @Bluffview Gym. PTO Santa's Cottage will be open before at 5pm and for 30 minutes after program conclusion.
Check out our dress-up days, and join in on the fun!

Last week, Ms. Church’s class explored some fascinating amphibians during a virtual field trip to the Okefenokee Swamp. After learning all about these unique creatures, students hopped into a hands-on Lego STEM challenge. Each group was given a set of materials and asked to build an amphibian habitat that reflected what they learned. Their creativity, teamwork, and excitement was showcased through their final products!

Rizzo is officially two months old! Ms. Church’s students are proud to share that their adopted calf has grown 9 inches and gained an impressive 172 pounds. 😮
They also enjoyed a special Thanksgiving story read by Farmer Natalie’s son and were excited to see Rizzo and her friends featured in the video. Students learned about calf care and even discovered fun facts about Rizzo’s mom, Ruby.
