Students are allowed to check out 3 books at a time for a period of two weeks.
Ordering Books From Other Libraries
We have the privilege of belonging to the Illinois Heartland Association which allows our district to order books from other libraries. The students are welcome to come into the library for instructions on how they may order for themselves.
Overdue notices are sent to students on a quarterly basis via their study hall classroom teachers. Overdue books are subject to a 10 cent per school day fine.
Computers in the Library
The Library has 12 desktop computers. Our lab/classroom also has a Promethean Board which ensures the visibility of all presentations and demonstrations. A printer is also available.
All students have access to the Internet but must follow district policy with regards to Internet usage. The Internet is reserved for research purposes and may not be used for casual e-mail, games, music, social websites or chat rooms.
